Tech Teenager’s growing Pains…

I worked with this Bangkok-based Tech ‘teenager’ to help the Business Leaders face into the growing pains around Culture, Values, Structure and Effective Teamworking

Initially engaged to help this 200 strong tech company based in Thailand and Malaysia understand their challenges around Org Culture, to define a set of Values and design a rollout plan to drive improvements but after an initial Brainstorm it became clear that their challenges were much wider.

We spent time looking into root causes of the founder’s frustrations with his management team, sources of the lack of progress and project completion, high attrition and the inability to hang on to key talent.

As is often the case, in essence, they needed help to untangle this mess!

We agreed a wide ranging action plan including:

  • Leadership team team ways of working, project ownership, reporting timetable, communications and leadership team meeting structure

  • People Team Org Design

  • People Team OKRs (objectives) & 12 month roadmap in the following topic areas:

    • Values & Culture

    • Talent Acquisition

    • Reward

    • Learning & Development

    • Performance Management

    • Org Design & Development

    • Employee Relations

  • …and defined a set of Values per the initial brief along with a rollout plan!
